Opening Day for Our Online Store

Filed Under:  Business, Photography by Daniel Noll and Audrey Scott

Breaking news! Uncornered Market’s online store is finally open. Thanks to all of you who have been asking and have remained patient.

Two of Audrey's Favorite Things - Phnom PenhConveniently timed for the Christmas and New Year’s holidays (hint! hint!), you can find our online store here. What better gift than an Uncornered Market dog shirt?

On a more serious note, you’ll find calendars, note cards, postcards and greeting cards composed from our photography and divided into the following themes:

If you notice an image in our photo gallery that you would like to see used on one of our products, please send us a note and we’ll add it. Alternatively, if you see an image in our store that you like, but you would prefer to see it used in a different product, just let us know.

The shop is hosted by Cafepress. We provide the images and design the products and they take care of the production, payment processing and shipping. Note that international shipping is also available.

We’ll continually update the shop as we travel, so check back often to see what’s new.

Finally, if you like what you see, please pass the shop’s website along to your friends.

Update: Frustrated that your calendar doesn’t have titles indicating the location of the images? Find printable lists of titles for the calendars here.

I feel like lights are going off and you should get a prize for being the first shoppers at our store! Have any pets who need a shirt to stay warm during Seattle’s winter? : )

Hope Diane has a successful holiday season with her beautiful silk painted pillows and wall hangings!

    Audrey and Dan,
I love your site, and often lose time in its depth and beauty. Just wanted to say that my order arrived from your store and the items I ordered (shhh) look great. There was a small error (my fault) but Cafe Express is generously replacing with no return, gratis. What a great company!
One suggestion for the calendar, maybe for ’09 – titles or country names on the photos, or a last page with a guide to the photos.
I’ve given your site to friends and all think the photos are wonderful.

    Stevie,
I’m so glad to hear you were pleased with the quality of the purchases and the customer service from Cafepress! I would like to add captions/titles to the photos used in the calendars since I agree that context would make the photos more interesting. Unfortunately, this isn’t yet possible for the calendars offered on Cafepress. I actually sent Cafepress feedback on this issue earlier this week!

We chose Cafepress since it seemed the best online shop option at the time. I hope it will offer the option to include captions for 2009 calendars…or maybe a better online alternative will be available by then.

It means a lot to us when people share our site and our work with friends. Thank you.
Hope everyone enjoys their gifts! Don’t worry, I won’t share what you ordered : )

URL to your store no longer exists; do you have a new one?

BTW, I just moved to Saigon and found your blog when looking for a dim sum restaurant.

Kudos to you guys; great site.

And a personal apology for my Texas compatriot who screwed you on your biz card….I like your attitude, however, of seeing the bright side of it.

@Terrance: Thanks for stopping by & hope you’re enjoying Saigon. We really enjoyed our visit to Saigon and have toyed with the idea of returning for a chunk of time. No worries about your Texas compatriot – it happens and we became a bit wiser in the process.

We took down the CafePress shop, but still have a simple one at Zazzle: http://www.zazzle.com/umarket

To be honest, I haven’t updated it in a while but have toyed around with the idea of doing something with it for the holidays. Is there something in particular you’re interested in?
