All joking aside about yoga poses, this panorama from Santa Fe Island shows you how animals and humans hang out in close proximity in the Galapagos Islands. But get too close to the alpha male nearby, and you might have an angry bunch of pinnipeds on your hands.
As in the human world, respect for others goes a long way.

@Jennifer: You not only walk amongst the pack of sea lions, but sometimes you swim with them too. They are so fast in the water that they kind of come out of nowhere. The young sea lions like to play with the colorful flippers, so that’s kind of neat. Glad you enjoyed this panorama!
@Lilliane & Andi: For scuba diving in the Galapagos Islands you need to either book tours from the main inhabited island (Santa Cruz) or you need to book a special diving cruise. Gone are the days where you could take a regular Galapagos cruise tour and add in some diving on the side. The snorkeling in this area is incredible, so even if you can’t dive you still see a lot (e.g., sea turtles, penguins, sea lions, lots of fish, shark, etc.)

@Lauren: We use Autopano Giga & Tour to stitch the images together and create the tour that you see here. In order to get the original images, we use an 8mm fisheye lens. We’ll be writing about this soon, so there will be a lot more detail in the tutorial.
