uncorneredmarket The colors and designs of the felt carpets ("shyrdak" in Kyrgyz) are really strong and striking - we love them. In addition to being beautiful, the shyrdaks are also really practical - they help keep the wind from coming into the yurt so that the inside stays warm and cosy.
