halfbreedhalf excellent capture......"men like women who are mysterious".......and i love the way the english language has been used in Asia.......... DVD plot synopsis' are usually hilarious ..... and even in Shanghai where there are plenty of native english speakers ..... it seems no-one has thought to contact any of them to help with the translation of anything... uncorneredmarket How true! Finding outrageous English in China is easy; this list was the best example we saw in our two months there. Another favorite misspelling came from Starbuck's in Beijing. They had 2 meter tall banners all over town saying "We're Openg!" Didn't anyone think to do a spellcheck before spending good money on printing? Our favorite DVD plot synopsis: "This movie wasn't as bad as I thought it would be." Posted: December 29 2007
