Hainanese Chicken Rice

Hainanese Chicken Rice is another culinary specialty unique to Singapore. It doesn't sound very exciting at first - rice cooked in chicken broth, slices of roasted (or steamed) chicken served with cucumbers and herbs, hot sauce and sweet soy sauce, and a light chicken stock soup with vegetables. The result is delicious, however as the different, subtle tastes play off each other perfectly. Taken at the hawker center between Waterloo Street and Bugis Street in Singapore.
