It might look a little sloppy, but these Pingyao cut wheat noodles (jianzi mian) come fried with onions and cabbage and go perfectly with a dash or two of hot pepper sauce.
The staff at this hole-in-the-wall restaurant outside Pingyao's old town got a big kick out of us photographing their food.
