After crossing the Thorong La pass, we had a steep 1,600 meter descent through dry terrain to the village of Muktinath. The way down turned out even more difficult than the way up!The village is a pilgrimage site for both Hindus and Buddhists. Here, some women pass the time by singing and dancing.
