Clouds clear at dawn, giving us a glimpse of the mountains surrounding the village of Muktinath. The village was our first encounter with "civilization" - jeeps, tractors, motorcycles since the beginning of our trek. We had become accustomed to mules, making the reappearance of motorized vehicles difficult to stomach.
