Yaks bound over the hilltop on the way from Letdar to Thorong Phedi. For big animals, they were surprisingly light on their feet.
A bit disconcerting to be facing the stampede. Fortunately, they dodged us as much as we did them.
They did, however, almost take out Australian supermodel Gemma Ward along the way.
