We discovered one of the last old neighborhoods in Chengdu behind the Shangri-La hotel. It was quickly being demolished in order to build skyscrapers and modern buildings. Quite sad, really - it was our favorite neighborhood in Chengdu. We discovered one of the last "old" neighborhoods in Chengdu behind the Shangri-La hotel. It was quickly being demolished in order to build skyscrapers and modern buildings.

Quite sad, really - it was our favorite neighborhood in Chengdu.
