We took an overnight sleeper bus from Jinghong (Xishuangbanna) to Kunming, the capital of China's Yunnan Province...The bus fit three beds across and two beds deep. Although the beds were not Dan-sized (he had to keep his legs bent all night), it was still a pretty comfortable ride since the highways were recently paved and relatively smooth.
