On Maundy Thursday (Jueves Santo), male float carriers (cucuruchos) dress in all purple. It is estimated that each man carries around 75 lbs of weight; the float (anda) sways back and forth down the streets.
This procession sets off from San Francisco el Grande church (called Procesion de Jesus Nazareno del Perdon).
