Sixty to a hundred men bear the weight of floats (andas) used during Holy Week (Semana Santa) festivities in Antigua, Guatemala. This particular float was part of the procession from San Cristobal el Bajo church (Procesion de Jesus Nazareno de la Humildad) on Maundy Thursday (Jueves Santo). Notice how all the carriers are dressed in purple.
