We had the opportunity to work with Kiva Fellows in Totonicapan and Guatemala City who took us around to meet Kiva.org microloan borrowers. We saw how these small loans were used to start, enhance or grow small businesses such as weaving, sewing, candle-making, or running small shops. Many of these businesses run out of the home, so we were graciously invited into people's homes and got a glimpse into how Guatemalans live and work.
