We found that in the freezing cold of winter or the white nights of summer that newlyweds got their picture taken by this statue for good luck. We saw a line of couples waiting for their photo to be taken. The bride would bundle up in her coat until it was their turn, and then they'd run to get the photo taken before she froze.
