The 5-star hotel compensation for being bumped from our flight stands in stark contrast to the previous night's journey by train and much of the rest of our experience.
Hotels like this seemed to absorb all mid to high-end food products. Although we ate well in the homes where we stayed, the typical street, market and restaurant offerings were remarkably bleak for a country so lush.
