A fabulous day in Kollam starts with a conversation with a gaggle of gregarious Muslim men cooking enormous pots of biryani (lots of good stuff in there, including hints of mint and coconut)...It was a community event. Involved a lot of hard work. And bags of food were given freely by the men to everyone in the community...including us. Taken in Kollam, India (Kerala state).
