Isabel shows off one of her hand knit scarves in her workshop in the town of Yauli outside Huancavelica, Peru. She uses her loan to buy wool so that she can expand her artisan business. One of these sweaters takes around 2 days to make and she earns very little profit (about $1) on the local market. Most artisans are looking for export options to increase profit.
