In traditional Bangladesh cooking, the knife is a contraption that is put on the ground and you put your foot on it to keep it still. Then you cut vegetables by holding them against the blade. Audrey was not so skilled at this, but our hosts could chop up onion in a really fine pieces. Hatiandha, Bangladesh.
