Jvari, meaning "cross" because of its shape, is one of the oldest churches in Georgia (dating back to the 7th century) sits high on a hill overlooking the ancient Georgian capital of Mtskheta. ..The inside of the church is quite plain, but it is still an active church and the atmosphere and views are great.
