Kashgar's Sunday Animal Market - Xinjiang, China

We arose early on Sunday morning in Kashgar to catch the animal market on the edge of town. Our arrival coincided with the arrival of the traders and their animal processions.

Although the animals are often poorly treated by their owners, the market is still a visual treat and definitely worth a visit.
