Once Water, Now Desert

Zengi Baba Mausoleum (near Murche) is now in the middle of a desert. Hard to believe, but ages ago, the area was part of the sea. ..The large stone balls, nautilus fossils, serve as proof. Ancient City of Murche

The walls of the tower and houses are made with hay-reinforced mud. This tower is one of the few structures to survive.  

Scoping out the Desert
