New Marketing Techniques?

Warriors at the Ready

The main pit (Pit #1) of the Terra Cotta Warriors is impressive in its vast size and concept. The Emperor of Qin certainly had an ego when he commissioned thousands of warriors to protect him in his tomb and fight for him in death (209 BC).Only parts have been fully excavated with statues carefully re-pieced together. Originally, the 8,000+ warriors were colorfully painted, which would have been almost too overwhelming for the senses. © www.uncorneredmarket.com

Viewing Pit #1 of the Terra Cotta Warriors

The people on the edge of the pit give you a sense of the pit's size. This photo only shows a small segment of the entire pit. Apparently 8,099 statues were commissioned by the emperor for his mausoleum. © www.uncorneredmarket.com

No Two Alike

In addition to the sheer volume of warrior statues (8,000+), the uniqueness of each statue's facial expression is impressive. © www.uncorneredmarket.com
